Duh Magazine was created as a personal response to the United States' treacherous slide out of existence into the annals of history. This country exists in a post-christian vacuum evidenced by its suffering under a deluge of epidemics where: (1) its people murder around one million of their own countrymen, babies through "choice" every year, (2) divorce is commonplace while "shacking up" is the prevalent wisdom, (3) adultery is a protected "right," (4) the perversion of homosexuality is "celebrated" proudly, (5) fornication is intensely urged, (6) families are devastated by divorce and are mocked by our culture, (7) children murder their parents and vice-versa, (8) children have been cruelly dumbed-down to a miserable degree by an ever-failing, behemoth-sized money-pit dubbed the government education system as well as by pop culture, (8) tens of trillions of dollars of debt are accumulated by the nation under a monetary system designed to fail and controlled by corporations rather than by a righteous government under God, (9) its people, instead of understanding their country is a republic, think they live in a democracy - a form of government historically proven to fail - and act accordingly, (10) and so forth and so forth and so forth. But really, all of the above means only one thing: God has judged the United States by giving itself over to its depraved, collective mind so that it may seek its own lusts and be destroyed as it so deserves. Alas, many - nay, most - do not see this impending doom and this includes God's people. I am convinced they do not see because they choose not to see, themselves having been given over to depraved minds by God, operating under a delusion of safety, calm and complacency, like a frog in a pot which has just been place on a burner. In a country which suffers from a severe case of "short attention span" fathered by the good ol' television set and mothered by the X-Box and I-Pod, it's a difficult task placing the Truth into a mind whose priority is mental masturbation - watching the numbed insanity of "run three yards, fall down, get up, repeat." In other words, if Eyewitness News doesn't show Truth before the ten minute sports segment or after the 9 minute weather segment of a twenty-two minute broadcast - which it doesn't - then Truth seemingly has no chance of even becoming an afterthought, unfortunately. Duh Magazine exists to present Truth in its own perspective to an entire generation which throughout its existence has lived under a cruel form of abuse - censorship. With God's grace the Truth will awaken an entire generation (and hopefully the generation before it - the Worst Generation) to its reluctance to think critically, an ability which has, unfortunately, been skillfully, intentionally and drastically impaired in part by the government education system at the behest of lazy, selfish parents (if they deserve to be called such). Perhaps, then, the nation through the generation will finally notice its impending doom, repent and turn to God.
