Garland Teacher Arrested
(CBS 11 News) GARLAND Garland police arrested a schoolteacher for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student.
23-year-old Lindsey Holt was taken into custody Tuesday night after she was found in a compromising position with a 17-year-old student. The
two were at a south Garland park.
Holt, who teaches at South Garland High, was taken to the Garland Detention Center where she was charged with having an improper
relationship between an educator and student.
The offense is a 2nd degree felony and carries a punishment of 2 -20 years in prison and/or a fine of not more than $10,000.
Holt paid a bond of $5000 and was released from jail.
