Sex on school roof lands couple in jail BY JENNIFER SINCO KELLEHER STAFF WRITER July 19, 2005 A couple in Port Jefferson Station found a very public place to perform the most private of acts: They were on the roof of a middle school having sex, Suffolk police said yesterday. A 911 call from someone who saw them led police to John F. Kennedy Middle School about 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Sixth Precinct Insp. Robert Ponzo said. On the roof of the two-story building were a 19-year-old and her homeless boyfriend. Both were naked, Ponzo said. "They were engaged in sexual intercourse in full view of the motorists and pedestrian public," he said. Officers arrested Rebekah Albee, who lives on Jayne Boulevard near the school , and Anthony Oddo, 24, who police said has been known to sleep in parks. Both were charged with third-degree criminal trespass and public lewdness. They were released after their arraignments yesterday. Oddo was also charged with resisting arrest. Oddo pleaded guilty April 25 to drug possession and was sentenced to 45 days in jail, court records show. His brother, Robert Oliver, 31, of Port Jefferson Station, said Oddo found himself homeless after he was released from Suffolk County jail in Riverhead. Yesterday, Albee's brother, Kris Albee, 31, said his sister, who was an honor student in high school and had attended JFK, is no longer welcome at home because of the arrest. Still, he was able to joke about it.
