College Student Reports Attempted Rape On Campus Victim Pushed Into Men's Room In NOVA Building POSTED: 3:25 pm EDT July 21, 2005 UPDATED: 6:46 pm EDT July 21, 2005 ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- A student at Northern Virginia Community College says a man tried to rape her Wednesday night in a bathroom. According to campus police, it happened at about 6 p.m. in the Tyler Building of the Alexandria campus. In an e-mail to NOVA employees, campus police said the victim was grabbed from behind and pushed into a men's room on the second floor. As the attacker was trying to take her clothes off, the woman managed to break free. Police and the victim searched the campus but couldn't find the man.
