July 29, 2005   Former Milford high school teacher faces rape charge WORCESTER, Mass. A former ninth-grade math teacher at Franklin High School in Milford pleads innocent to a charge of rape. Mark Massey is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old Franklin girl two years ago at his Milford home. He initially was charged in January in Milford District Court with two counts of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over and statutory rape. A Worcester County grand jury indicted him July 15th on a single count of statutory rape, moving the case to Worcester Superior Court. The 24-year-old Massey was released yesterday after he posted five-thousand dollars cash bail, and the case was continued to September 16th.
