Longview Teacher Arrested On Drug Charges
An East Texas school teacher is arrested in Gregg County and charged with drug possession. Longview police arrested 41-year-old Laura
Heidt, a teacher at Pine Tree Junior High School, on Thursday. Authorities say they found methamphetamine and cocaine in Heidt's possession
during a traffic stop. Heidt has been placed on administrative leave from the district. She remains in the Gregg County Jail on $50,000bond.
