Teacher Accused Of Inappropriate Acts With Students
Fri Oct 28, 6:59 PM ET

A Pearland high school teacher was arrested Friday, accused of engaging in inappropriate acts with two students.

Investigators said Hollis Grizzard III, 33, was charged with two felonies -- an improper relationship between a teacher and student, and sexual
assault. Police said he had two female victims.

"Administrators put the accused teacher on administrative leave and contacted the Pearland Police Department," said Renai Ivy, with Pearland
Independent School District.

"We have two 15-year-old juveniles and we have a 33-year-old. That's not going to be accepted here in our school district, so, therefore, our
investigation is going to be as accurate, as thorough as possible," said Rick Fernandez, with the Pearland Police Department.

Neither police nor the Pearland Independent School District would elaborate on the allegations or what happened between Grizzard and the
students.

One of the students came forward.

Grizzard was arrested Friday afternoon at his house without incident.

He has been a teacher and a debate coach at Pearland High School since August.

Three other teachers from Pearland have been charged with improper relationships with students recently. They are Timothy George Locklear,
26; Delesondro Deshon Sims, 32; and Angelique Evanson, 35.
