| July 30, 2005 2:07 PM Former teacher to face felony rape charges (Colonie, NY - AP) — Police say a former high school English teacher at a private all- boys school in Albany will surrender on Monday to face felony rape charges in connection with incidents involving a former student. The teacher, 42-year-old Sandra "Beth" Geisel, was fired from her job at Christian Brother's Academy last month after police in Cohoes allegedly found her in a parked car with one of her students, who was 17. Geisel became the focus of a police investigation after that incident. There were no criminal charges filed in connection with the Cohoes incident because the boy was older than 16. But another boy, who is 16, went to police and alleged he had sex with the teacher on two occasions. Geisel left the area after being fired from CBA, but has negotiated with police to turn herself in on Monday. http://www.wrgb.com/news/local/local_news.asp?selection=article_38021 Back To Guvment Skool Page 8 COPYRIGHT "DUHMAG.COM" 2005 |
